Welcome to our enchanting ceremony, elopement, and micro-wedding space! Imagine a beautiful spot surrounded by majestic rainforest trees adorned with stag and elkhorns, with Cedar Creek flowing gently nearby, forming a cool, refreshing pool.
The space is a long rectangular shape to create an intimate feel for you and your guests, that expands out to accommodate up to 100 guests.
As filtered sunlight dances through the canopy, you’ll walk across a rustic old bridge to reach this magical location. The atmosphere exudes romance, offering an unforgettable backdrop for your celebration.
THE TALLOWWOOD TREE

Discover The Tallowwood Tree, where you can say ‘I do’ under the golden sun. This picturesque setting features sun-drenched, gently sloping areas that provide stunning views for your guests.
Your ceremony will be backdropped by lush greenery and swaying palms, with the majestic tallow wood tree serving as a captivating centerpiece, enhancing the beauty of your celebration. With two access points, one for leisurely strolls and another for vehicle entry.
The Tallowwood Tree is designed for a grand bridal entrance, while the gentle slope of the hillside ensures that all your guests have a perfect view of your vows.

We’re excited to share that Cedar Hill, our new reception space, is being built soon at Cedar Banks. Designed to blend seamlessly with the natural landscape, Cedar Hill offers the comfort of shelter while keeping the immersive outdoor feel that defines our venue.
Set amongst valley views and framed by native trees, the space features high ceilings and a clean, simple design—intentionally pared back so each couple can style it their own way, without being swayed by a particular aesthetic.
Cedar Hill flows effortlessly onto a flat, grassy lawn that’s perfect for sunset drinks, lawn games, or relaxing by the large fire pit. Inside, you’ll find a dedicated bar and coolroom ready for your drinks and service team, along with restrooms for added guest comfort.

Easily accessed once you enter Cedar Banks, Cedar Flats is discreetly located away from the other wedding sites. This space allows your friends and family to park or camp conveniently, whether they bring their own tents or caravans or choose a hired glamping experience.
Amidst the stunning backdrop of flooded gums, you can create cherished moments under the stars, whether it’s laughter around the campfire or a refreshing dip in the swimming hole.

When you book an event at Cedar Banks, you’ll have exclusive use of the entire property for the duration of your hire. That means no other bookings, no shared spaces, and complete privacy for you and your guests. From arrival to pack-down, the venue is entirely yours—allowing for a relaxed atmosphere, seamless coordination with your suppliers, and the freedom to bring your celebration to life exactly as you imagined.
HOW TO GET HERE
Cedar Banks is easily accessed via Cedar Creek Road, just off Eumundi – Kenilworth Road. As you turn onto Cedar Creek Road, a well-maintained two-way dirt road ensures convenience for you and your guests, no matter what type of vehicle you have.
ACCOMODATION & PARKING
Cedar Banks offers ample parking space for all your guests, while camping accommodations are available for up to 50 guests. The layout ensures the reception and ceremony sites are separate, providing privacy and an intimate atmosphere.
Guests will also find a variety of nearby accommodation options—from charming Airbnbs to boutique hotels in Noosa, catering to a range of styles and budgets. The Imperial Hotel in Eumundi, just 20 minutes away, offers 15 newly renovated rooms, perfect for guests seeking a convenient and comfortable stay close to the venue.
For a romantic and luxurious wedding night, our top pick is Round Hill Retreat in Obi Obi – an idyllic hideaway nestled in nature, offering the perfect escape for lovers.
STAY CONNECTED (OR NOT!)
Cedar Hill offers a unique blend of connectivity and peaceful disconnection. While there is no phone reception onsite, giving your guests the perfect chance to unplug and fully immerse themselves in your special day, we provide Wi-Fi access for a select few important guests, including vendors, yourselves, and anyone who needs to stay in touch with someone not at the event, such as babysitters or family members. This way, you get the best of both worlds: a serene celebration with just the right touch of connectivity where it truly matters.

Our pet-friendly policy* makes it possible for all members of the family to be part of the celebration.
CATERING
Cedar Banks does not have an on-site kitchen, so all events will need to hire mobile caterers who are fully self-sufficient. We provide access to water and power hook-ups to support their setup.
From casual and fun-filled food trucks to lavish buffets or gourmet picnic spreads, there are plenty of catering styles to suit your celebration. For a more refined experience, you can engage professional caterers who specialise in elegant sit-down meals and fine dining menus.
For something truly memorable, consider an open-fire cooking experience with Tuckshop Catering Company, blending the warmth of outdoor cooking with restaurant-quality food and effortless style.
STYLING
Our purpose-built reception space, Cedar Hill, is being built soon and will be the dedicated setting for all future events at Cedar Banks. Designed with simplicity and elegance in mind, it provides a beautiful, neutral backdrop that suits any style—whether you’re dreaming of a relaxed boho gathering, rustic charm, modern minimalism, or something entirely unique to you.
We do not have exclusive vendor arrangements, so you’re free to bring in any suppliers you like—from stylists and florists to planners and musicians. You can go fully DIY, handpick each detail yourself, or engage a professional team to take care of everything. The choice is entirely yours.
With Cedar Hill as your reception space and our natural surrounds as the backdrop, your event can be as laid-back or as luxe as you wish. At Cedar Banks, we offer the space—your vision brings it to life.
TOILETS
Toilets will be available at the Cedar Hill reception space once completed, including male and female facilities. However, there are no toilets at the ceremony areas or campsites, though both are a short walk away.
For convenience, we recommend hiring a portable toilet for camping guests so they don’t need to access the reception space outside of event hours.
Providing suitable amenities across your event setup ensures a comfortable experience for all.
OUR WAY OF DOING THINGS
At Cedar Banks, we prioritise both your enjoyment and respect for our local community, including livestock, wildlife, and neighbours. Please maintain considerate noise levels, drive responsibly, dispose of litter properly, and adopt thoughtful pet ownership and smoking practices. Please ensure no litter is left behind including cigarette butts and bottle caps.
